Presses thick portion of heavy gloves by beating finger tips and seams with wooden block. May also smooth glove between fingers (crotch) by pulling rake (pronged bar) over gloved form. May also examine glove while pressing to detect defects. May also turn seams inside [GLOVE TURNER (glove industry)]. May also sew ripped seams and small tears by hand. May also apply chemical solution and rub gloves with cloth to remove stains. May also apply chemical or ready-mixed tint with cloth to restore original color to gloves.
