Agricultural Services Director: Administers state agricultural program: Develops and coordinates programs for producing and marketing commodities, for example livestock, grain, dairy products, and produce. Interprets and enforces laws, rules, and regulations governing agricultural commodities. Directs programs, for example weights and measures, inspection of grain and livestock facilities, and processing, packaging, and distribution of agricultural products to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
